Have a jawsome birthday

Hello and happy Friday!

This card is my submission for the current TheMaleRoom #89 Fish/Fishing challenge.

I started creating this card with a shark image from My Favorite Things Beach Buds stamp set. The image was colored with alcohol markers in cool grays then fussy cut.

Next I created my background using Kaisercraft Ripples and Honey Bee Stamps Ocean Scene Builder stencils and four Distress inks. I used Stained Glass, Salty Ocean, Faded Jeans and Chopped Sapphire ink colors to achieve the look.

Once the background was finished I used the largest My Favorite Things‘ Inside-out diagonal stitched rectangle STAX die to cut it out and backed it with craft foam.

I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set (MFT Beach Buds) in Memento tuxedo black ink.

To my shark I added foam tape and adhered it to the background panel then attached my finished panel to A2 size card base.

To finish the card I added few bubbles with white gel pen.

What a wonderful sea scene – the depth you’ve created with the shades of blue and stencils is wonderful. And that shark really is very cute!! Thanks so much for playing along with our fishing theme at The Male Room. Deborah, DT.
