Hello and happy Friday!
Last week Sunny Studio Stamps had a new release for fall and I fell in love with just about everything from that release 🙂 Stamps are so adorable, the dies are very unique and versatile and patterned paper is gorgeous!
Fall is my favorite season and for my very first fall card this year I chose to play with Fall Kiddos and Fall Flicks Film Strip die.
To start I stamped and colored all the images from the stamp set and cut them out. I used Memento Tuxedo black ink and alcohol markers for coloring. I created piles of leaves by masking them (they come as a single leaf stamp in the set).
I decided to create a film strip in brown color so I die cut it 3 times out of kraft card stock and stacked them together. I used Distress Ink in Walnut Stain to give it little shading and dimension.
To create my background I used My Favorite Things Mini Cloud stencil and Distress Ink in Salty Ocean then used My Favorite Things Grassy Edges die and cut a piece of olive cardstock to create the grass. Next I white heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder.
I adhered the grass to my cloudy background and die cut the panel with the largest stitched rectangle die (MFT Stitched Rectangle STAX Set A) then started adhering my elements and images.
I added craft foam to the back of my panel for dimension then attached it to the top folding A2 size card base (Michael’s Recollection’s 110lb).
I had so much fun making this card 🙂 This Fall Kiddos stamp set is so versatile and I know I will use it over and over again as well as the Film strip die.
