Autumn Blessings

Hello crafty friends,

Few days ago I posted 3 fall cards on Instagram and got a lot of great feedback and a few questions so today’s post is about creating variety of card designs with one stamp set.

I originally made one card with this stamp set – photo below – and after it was completed two more design ideas came so I continued working :)’

For the first card I stamped images with Memento Ink and colored them with alcohol markers then filled in the white space with a tiny 3-dot stamp from the set in colors similar to my leaves. I wanted my background to look like patterned paper.

I kept the card somewhat simple – I cut the background panel and the kraft layer with stitched rectangle dies and adhered them to the card base. I white heat embossed the sentiment on a piece of black card stock and added it to my background with foam tape.

For the second card I used Sunny Studio Stamps patterned paper in woodgrain for my background. I white heat embossed the sentiment on the patterned paper then die cut the background with stitched rectangle die. Next I added 3 maple leaves I previously stamped, colored and fussy cut and to finish off the card I added few Nuvo Drops in gloss white.

Third card I kept clean and simple – I left my background white, I just added stitching with wonky stitched rectangle die then added the leaf and the acorn that I previously colored and cut. I stamped the sentiment in brown ink and added a tiny twine bow.

Supplies used: Stamps – Autumn Blessings; Patterned paper – Sunny Studio Stamps; Card bases – Michael’s Recollections 110lb white; Cardstock – Neenah Classic Crest solar white; Dies – My Favorite Things; Black ink – Memento Tuxedo Black; Brown ink – Hero Arts Cup ‘o Joe; VersaMark ink; Embossing powder – Hero Arts white; Nuvo drops gloss white; alcohol markers; twine

I hope this post inspires you to create many different card designs using one stamp set.

Thank you for stopping by and hope you have a wonderful day!
