Hello crafty friends,
In today’s post I am sharing a card I made for all of my crafty friends out there 🙂
Wheek, wheek, wheek stamp set from Gerda Steiner is so adorable, full of the cutest guinea pigs, funniest sentiments and of course lettuce images!
I started this card with stamping the guinea pig and lettuce images (a lot of lettuce images) on masking paper then cut them out with scissors. I had about 10 lettuce masks – there are two lettuce images in the set.
After I was done with cutting my masks I die cut a piece of Neenah cardstock and started stamping lettuce images and masking them at the same time to create a pile of lettuce. Then I stamped the guinea pig on top of the pile of lettuce and started coloring with alcohol markers.
Once coloring was done I stamped the sentiment on the top of my panel.
For some interest I added highlights to the lettuce with white gel pen and some splatter around the guinea pig.
I adhered the panel to my card base with foam tape.
