Hello crafty friends,
Hope you’re having a good weekย ๐
Today’s card was created for my stepson’s upcoming birthday and I decided to use MFT sketch#396 for this card.

I love using sketches and color combos provided by many companies in the industry – they give me a wide variety of ideas that I normally wouldn’t come up with on my own.
To start I stamped, colored and cut the lion. Next I die cut the Happy Birthday circle sentiment from heavyweight cardstock and colored it with the same colors as the lion.
The patterned paper was cut with stitched rectangle die then I cut a smaller panel from kraft cardstock. I stamped the square pattern on kraft piece and cut the circle sentiment on the bottom right edge as I wanted to do an inlay with my sentiment.
I adhered the patterned paper to my card base then adhered the kraft piece. Once I had those two in place I added the circle shaker pouch to hold my sequins then adhered the circle sentiment and the lion image.
The sentiment on the bottom was stamped on a piece of tan cardstock, cut into a strip and adhered with foam tape.
To add more interest to my kraft panel I added liquid gems in coordinating color.
