Today I am sharing a Pop-Up Box card I’ve created few weeks ago with adorable Llama Tell You stamp set from Gerda Steiner Designs!
I have created many projects with these cuties but this was my first time creating a box card and using all the stamps from the set! Pop-Up box cards used to intimidate me so I gave it try. It was so much fun creating this dimensional scene! If you haven’t tried creating a Pop-up box card I encourage you to try 🙂
I started by stamping all the images from the stamp set twice with alcohol marker friendly ink, coloring them then fussy cutting them out. Yes, that was a lot of fussy cutting but so worth it!
To create the box part of the card I used olive cardstock from my stash. I thought it would compliment the colors I colored the images with.
With leftover pieces of olive cardstock I die cut few grassy pieces and adhered them on the inside of the card.
The stamp set comes with a hill stamp that I used to create the hills on both sides of my flaps and inside the card (photo below shows the stamped hill attached to the flap and inside by the big llama).
For the back panel of the box I used 3 colors of distress ink to create a sunset. I adhered the sunset panel directly to the back of the card panel and added two white die cut clouds.
I die cut a stitched hill for the front panel from kraft cardstock and white heat embossed the sentiments from the set.
Once all my panels were done I added all the images to the card filling as much space as possible! I love box cards full of images so I added all I could fit 🙂
This was such a fun project to create and I am sure I will be making many more!
Hope you liked it and got inspired to try something new as well 🙂
