Do you love guinea pigs?!
I absolutely adore them, never had one which is probably why I have 5 of them from Wheek, Wheek stamp set in this card! 🙂 🙂
I’ve been on a kick lately challenging myself to use all the stamps in the set on one card(doesn’t always work out but I try) and I found that masking usually gives me that possibility.
With masking you can add many layers and many images to a card completely filling the space without adding weight and bulk and it works great for mailing!
To create this one layer card I cut a piece of Neenah SW cardstock a bit smaller than A2 size. I took all the stamps from the set and started arranging them on my card panel to see how they would all fit. Once I had my layout I stamped all the images on masking paper and fussy cut them out.
Now it was time to start stamping them on my card panel. I started with images that will be in the very front. I masked those images and stamped the rest.
I left all my masks on the panel and lightly inked the background with distress ink so it’s not plain white.
Once my ink was dry I colored all my images with alcohol markers.
I freehanded straw under each guinea pig and added the sentiment.
I adhered my finished panel to the card base using craft foam and added a frame to complete the scene.
