Hi crafty friends,
Hope your week is going well π
Today’s swan card was one of the cards I have created long time ago and never posted. I am currently on a vacation and wanted to have something to share and decided to share this Hero Arts Layering Swan.
This was a fairly easy card to make as the layering stamps do most of the work for you π
I cut a piece of Neenah cardstock with stitched rectangle die for the background panel and started working on the design.
I stamped the swan first then masked it with masking paper and started creating the background.
I stamped the swan’s silhouette in the water next and added ripples with one of the stamps included in the set. To fill in the space a bit I blended some distress ink throughout the water area.
Next I stamped the foliage (from the stamp set) and masked them as well as I was going to be creating the sky using distress ink and a cloud stencil.
Once my background was complete and dry I stamped the sentiment from the stamp set and added the finished panel to my card base using craft foam.
I really hope you like this card and try one of the layering stamp sets available from so many different companiesΒ π
