Hi crafty friends!
Somehow Christmas cards have taken over me early this year! I can’t seem to stop making them and more I make the happier I feel 🙂 I know I’ll thank myself in December when I will have plenty finished ones to mail to family and friends! Yay!
I am still on a roll with Sunny Studio products and today I am sharing a Blue Christmas card that was created only with ink blending and heat embossing.
To start I created a background blending Faded Jeans, Salty Ocean and Broken China Distress ink on a piece of white cardstock. Once the ink was dry I die cut it with the largest stitched rectangle die.
Next I placed the images in my stamping tool and inked them with VersaMark embossing ink then sprinkled white embossing powder and melted it with my heat tool.
Once the images were embossed I repeated the process with the sentiment.
I added a few stars using the tiny images from the mini stamp set and white heat embossed them as well.
I felt like I needed more stars or snowflakes on the blue background so I mixed white acrylic paint with a little bit of water and splattered it on the background with a brush.
Once the background was dry I adhered it to the card base using foam tape.
For extra interest and sparkle I added white snowflake and silver star bursts sequins and my card was finished!
Thank you so much for stopping by today!
