Hello crafty friends and welcome back,
I have another Sunny Studio card to share today using Warm and Cozy Dies – just cannot help myself when it comes to their products and I hope you enjoy the cards I create as much as I enjoy playing with them 🙂
I have used Warm and Cozy Dies several times but I believe this is my first “posted card” using them.
6×6 Holiday Cheer paper pack came out with this release and I decided to use a strip from this pack as inspiration for this card.
I cut a strip of paper with red hats and mittens then created the rest of the background to match. I started by stamping Frosty Flurries with red ink on a piece of white cardstock.
I choose two different colors of red cardstock for my hat and mittens then die cut and adhered all the pieces together.
Next I white heat embossed the sentiment from Alpaca Holiday stamps on a strip of red cardstock.
Now that I had all my pieces ready it was time to put the card together.
The background was adhered directly to the card base with glue tape. I added the strip of patterned paper next then the sentiment which I popped up with foam tape.
Hat and mittens were popped up with foam tape as well and adhered to the background.
For some shine I added Nuvo Glitter drops to all the pom-poms. I was temped to add it to all the snowflakes as well but I controlled myself – this time 😉 And that my friends finished off the card!
Thank you so very much for taking the time and stopping by today 🙂
