Rainbow Christmas

Hello crafty friends!

Busy holiday season has everyone scrambling to get things done and I am no exception.Β  Little late on this post but better late than never right!? πŸ™‚

I have a simple rainbow Christmas card to share today that was really easy and simple to create!

As I was making my Christmas cards I was going through all my Christmas stamps and came across the tree stamp I purchased at Michael’s last January on clearance. It came with a matching die and a few sentiments as well. I decided to use it for this rainbow CAS card.

Rainbow idea came from the beautiful patterned paper I had in my stash (Sunny Studio Stamps) so I did my best to match the colors of the tree to the paper.

I choose my inks and did a trial stamping to see how it would look and loved it.

I die cut a piece of white cardstock smaller than A2 size and stamped my tree with rainbow colored inks trying to overlap slightly to get a smooth transition.

Once my tree was stamped I added the sentiment in red – I was toying with the idea of using a different color but red is most Christmas like so I stayed with it πŸ™‚

I adhered my patterned paper straight to the card base then added craft foam to the stamped panel, adhered it to the pattered paper and my card was done.

I added a holographic star sticker to the top of the tree for some interest and shine.

This card was quick and easy and would be great to mass produce!

I hope you liked this quick post and got inspired to give your Christmas card or cards a rainbow look!

Thank you for stopping by today and until next time – Happy crafting!!
