Hi crafty friends!
Over the weekend my husband and I went shopping for some last minute Christmas gifts. They were for few younger ones in the family. I don’t know about you but shopping for kids is hard for me. I never know what they really want!
We spent most of our time in the toy department I got inspired to create a card that resembles my afternoon shopping – colorful happy land 🙂
When I came home I shuffled though my stamp sets and realized that back in June I had colored and fussy cut all the images from Jolly Gingerbread stamp set (colored during TheDailymarker30day coloring challenge).
I went through the Sunny Studio’s Holiday Cheer paper pack and chose a few sheets of patterned paper and started creating a holiday gingerbread scene.
I choose rainbow snowflakes for the sky, the trees (that I fussy cut) for the tree line and green polka dots for the grass.
I die cut my patterned papers with stitched rectangle die and started layering my patterned papers for the background.
Once my background was done I added the images and my candy land/gingerbread card was done!
This card has no sentiment – I didn’t know what I would use the card for and didn’t really have a place to put it 🙂 The sentiment will live inside some day!
This was a really quick and easy card to make – thanks to the pre-colored images!
Thank you for taking the time to visit and hope you have a wonderful day 🙂
