Hi crafty friends!!
It’s time for the new challenge at The Male Room Challenge #101 The Color Blue π
Before I get into how I’ve created this card I have a very exciting announcement to make!
I am so honored and delighted to be joining The Male Room Challenge amazing Design Team!!! It feels like the best Christmas gift I could ever receive!!
For today’s special post and my first post as a The Male Room Challenge DT member I have created a card using my two big loves – color blue and snowboarding π π
My husband and I are real snow bunnies and hit the slopes any chance we can get! When I saw the Ready, Set, Snow stamp set from MFT I had to get it and create a card for my hubby.
I started with coloring all the images from the stamp set – I stamped everything twice just in case I make a mistake in coloring.
I fussy cut all the images next (yes I made so many that I have enough for another card, or two).
I created the background blending distress inks and adding white splatter, then created the hills while my background was drying.
I stamped the sentiment on the bottom hill using 3 shades of blue ink to get an ombre effect. Now it was time to start assembling my card.
I added foam tape to some images and the frame die cut piece, and adhered the other pieces directly to the background creating lots of dimension.
Once my scene was complete I adhered it to the A2 size card base and my card was finished!
I really hope you like this card and got inspired to join us at The Male Room for the challenge #101 The Color Blue π
Thank you so much for stopping by today! I wish you all a wonderful holiday season π
