Your Kindness Means So Much – AECP – All About Layering 1

Hello friends!

I have recently been accepted to Altenew Educator Program and I am so excited to learn many new techniques and improve my paper crafting skills. I have really enjoyed the first class and feel like I learned many new tricks and techniques even tho I have used layering stamps for my cards before.

Today I am sharing a card I created for the completion of the first class All About Layering 1.

After so many Christmas cards I have created lately I was really inspired to create a spring feeling project with lots of pink shades and one my favorite flowers – cherry blossoms. I added roses to this project as well as they are so beautiful and I couldn’t decided which flowers to use after I stamped them all so I used all of them πŸ™‚

For this card I have used the very first set I have bought from Altenew – Vintage Flowers stamps and dies. I still love this set so much as my love for Altenew stamps and dies begun with it. I choose Altenew Mini Ink cube set in Red Cosmos and Green Fields for my colors in this project.

The sentiment was white heat embossed on a strip of black cardstock and is from Build-a-Flower Hibiscus set.

The background was created with light watercolor wash using pinks and browns.

For some shine I added Wink of Stella to all my flowers.

I really hope you like this card as much as I liked creating it πŸ™‚
