Hi crafty friends!
It is time for the new challenge #102 at The Make Room! We have a super fun Anything Goes Optional Twist – Beverages challenge for the next two weeks!
Anything goes challenges are my favorite as you can really create just about anything so I really hope you join us!
I opted for the twist this time as I have never created anything with beverages before.
For this card I have used a paper pack I purchased a few years ago – I believe it’s from 7 Gypsies. The paper pack came with precut paper, cardstock, ephemera and burlap – I have used four pieces out of the pack for my layering background pieces (photo below).
I have used MFT dies to create the soda bottles/caps/straws. The bottles were die cut from dark brown cardstock – I added some highlights to the bottles with white gel pen.
The logos were hand drawn on the die cut piece and colored with alcohol markers then adhered to the bottles.
To create the straws I used red fine liner to draw lines every 1/8″ then die cut the straws sideways to get diagonal red stripes look.
The sentiment was stamped on a piece of kraft cardstock with black ink.
I layered all my die cuts on a stitched circle popping up one soda bottle and the sentiment with foam tape.
To finish off the card I added glossy accents to the bottles!
Thank you for taking the time to stop by and I hope you join us for this fun challenge π
