Hi crafty friends!

It is time to share a card for my sixth completed class Celebration: Stencil Techniques at Altenew Academy.

I have learned so many different techniques in this class, as I do in every class, and had some much fun playing with all of my stencils! I have so many ideas for future card designs.

For today’s card I have used Layered Dahlia Stencils A and B from Altenew πŸ™‚

I have a few different sets of layering stencils but I must say that these have to be my very favorite! They create such amazingly gorgeous dahlia design that I am in awe every time I use them or see a project created with them.

I have used two lightest ink colors from Altenew’s Coffee Break mini ink cube set – Sand Dunes and Rocky Shore for my inking.

For this card design I also used Altenew Antique Gold Crisp embossing powder, for both the layer of the stencil and the sentiment (Signature Words Die Set also from Altenew).

I backed the sentiment with a strip a vellum and embellished the card with three golden brown sequins just to add a pop of darker color to the golden brown tones.

I hope you like this card and got inspired to play with your stencils or take class at Altenew Academy!

Thank you for stopping by today and happy crafting πŸ™‚
