Hello everyone!
It is time for a new challenge at The Male Room Challenge Blog #103 and the theme is Nature.
Oh my, there is so many possibilities with this theme! I had at least 5 ideas for cards and few more for layouts. I seriously couldn’t make up my mind on which one to make so I let my husband choose for me π I mean, what’s better than a guy deciding on a card for a male!
He choose the dies Rustic Winter from Sunny Studio Stamps, and the colors for this card.
I had leftover die cuts from my Christmas cards so I didn’t have to do any die cutting which made this process faster. For the background I blended blue Distress Inks in Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean and for the grass Peeled Paint.
For the front panel I used 111# Savanna White Limba Woodgrain cardstock from CutCardstock that I inked with Walnut Stain Distress Ink and die cut and oval opening with Sizzix dies.
To assemble the card I added foam tape to my die cut pieces and adhered them to my blue inked background. Next I added foam tape under the front woodgrain panel and adhered it to the background.
I backed the entire piece with dark brown layering cardstock then adhered the whole thing to top folding card base.
I embossed the sentiment and adhered it to the front using foam tape.
Another masculine card to add to my stash π and I always need those!!
Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day π
