For today’s post, I have created a card featuring newest addition to Technique Tuesday’s Greenhouse Society,  Fresh Peonies and Essential Stitched Label Dies from their February release.

Let’s start on how I have created this card 🙂

To begin I have stamped the Fresh Peonies image on a piece of Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock using Memento London Fog ink and set it aside for about 10 minutes, while I was working on my background.

I used the embossing folder to add interest to my white background – I thought this pattern went really good with my floral design.

Once I dry embossed my background, I stamped the sentiment from Fresh Peonies stamp set and die cut it using the smallest label from Essential Stitched Labels.

I used medium label to die cut the gray layering piece that will back my sentiment.

Next I colored the image with alcohol markers and die cut it with coordinating die.

Now that all my pieces were ready, it was time to assemble the card.

I added a strip of thin silver ribbon to the background before adding the craft foam to the back.

Embossed background was adhered to the card base with liquid glue.

I adhered my floral piece next using foam tape.

The sentiment was layered on matching gray die cut then adhered to the background with thin foam tape and my card was finished!
