Hello crafty friends and welcome back!
We have a new exciting challenge starting at The Male Room Challenge Blog # 106 – Gorgeous Greens.
I was so excited about this challenge – I had so many ideas of what to create, and took a few days before deciding on this foliage/die cuts card.
To start I picked 4 different green papers – 3 are patterned papers from my scrapbook pages that I’ve had for a long time and foliage is green layering cardstock.
I die cut all the foliage first then proceeded to cut my panels from patterned paper.
Once I had all die cuts ready I adhered the foliage to the second largest die cut panel using liquid glue. I set the panel under a book for about 10 min for my foliage to set, then trimmed all the excess.
The smaller patterned paper die cut panel was embossed with the same dies I used to cut my foliage with, then back with craft foam.
I assembled my card next, starting with the textured layering piece. Foliage panel was adhered directly on the textured piece.
I layered few leftover foliage pieces for dimension and added it to the top embossed panel.
Sentiment was white heat embossed on textured piece and added above my die cut.
To embellish the card, I added Nuvo Crystal drops in white.
I hope you got inspired to join us at The Male Room Card Challenge! You cab create any paper project – card, tag, layout, 3D project as long it is suitable for a male.
Thank you so much for stopping by today and Happy Crafting π
