Hi everyone and welcome to Technique Tuesday National Scrapbook Day blog hop!

Saturday, May 4th is National Scrapbooking Day!! To celebrate this fun holiday Technique Tuesday is giving away FREE stamp sets and dies! The best part of this awesome freebie is that you get to choose which stamp or die set to get to grab!

Here is how you claim your FREEBIE!

Foe this special event I have created 3 cards featuring Sassy Vacation Memories Stamp Set, one of the sets available to receive for FREE!

Sassy Vacation Memories Stamp Set

What a fun set to create travel journal pages, scrapbook layouts and cards to record your vacation memories 🙂

My first card looks a bit like a travel journal page with airplanes doing an island hop!

I have used map patterned paper from my stash for the background, trimmed it to slightly smaller than my card base, distressed and inked the edges and adhered it to the black card base.

Next I stamped airplane and map images 3 times, colored them with alcohol markers then fussy cut them out.

I played with my design a bit before I stamped the sentiments.

Once the sentiments were stamped I adhered my airplanes and maps with foam tape.

I added a trail behind each airplane with black fine liner and my first card was done!

I absolutely love how this card came together and I will definitely use this idea for my next travel journal page!

My second card is all about color!! I crated a square card base and heat embossed the sentiment in the middle.

Next I stamped suitcase image 6 times, colored them in rainbow order with alcohol markers then fussy cut them out!

I popped all of the images with foam tape and adhered them around the sentiment.

For some interest, I added highlights with white gel pen!

For my third card I decided to go with more classy, masculine design.

This card definitely reminds me of my Dad, as I used his favorite colors and he used to travel a lot for work.

To create the background I used dark brown layering cardstock. From my stash I choose cream colored patterned paper that I ran through embossing folder.

Next, I adhered the embossed piece to the dark brown layer.

I stamped the images directly on the same patterned paper I used for the background and colored them with alcohol markers.

Then, I added a dark brown frame to each image and added faux stitching with black fine liner.

I white heat embossed the sentiment on a wide strip of dark brown cardstock, trimmed it and adhered to the background.

I adhered the images next, using foam tape, then added white Nuvo drops to the sentiment strip.

Ana, am I allowed to say that your cards, all three of them, are my very favourites on this hop? Because they are!
You’ve got such an eye for layout & colours & those sentiments are just the best. Mind you, I seem to be able to forget my passwords without even leaving the yard. lol Thanks for the fantastic inspiration.
