Hi crafty friends!
I am back with some exciting news today! I will be guest designing for Rubbernecker Stamps for the next 3 months and today I am sharing my first project π
For this card I have used three coffee themed stamp sets from Rubbernecker stamps; Garfield (owl), coffee grinder (from Coffee set), and coffee time sentiment (from Coffee Blanket set).Β
I stamped the images, colored them with alcohol markers then fussy cut them out.
For the background I added several layers of brown and tan cardstock, and pattered paper, starting with the largest dark brown that was die cut with Nested Deckle Rectangle (largest) die.
To the dark brown cardstock, I added newspaper print patterned paper I had in my stash.
I thought it would be fun to make my own patterned paper, so for the next layer I cut a piece of tan cardstock and added coffee looking splatter with Watercolor Splatter Set. IΒ created coffee circles by dipping a small washi tape roll in ink/water mixture and stamping on the tan cardstock.
I adhered all 3 pieces to 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 white card base, popping up the splattered, tan piece with craft foam for dimension.
I thought using a coffee sleeve would add a cool touch to this design so I trimmed it to size, inked the edges and added splatter with white acrylic paint. I lined the bottom part of the sleeve with a leftover die cut (largest Nested Deckle Rectangles).
I added my images using liquid glue and popped the sentiment with foam tape.
I finished the design with few dark blue liquid drops to match the mug and coffee grinder.
The theme for this card was inspired by the Spring/Summer 2019 Coffee Lover’s Blog Hop going on through May 10th.Β Rubbernecker Stamps is one of the sponsors so I hope you check it out π
Thank you so much for stopping by today and until next time I wish you Happy Crafting!
