Today I am sharing two cards created with stamps and dies from the new release – Sending Roses and Alligators and Crocodiles!
Let’s start with Sending Roses!
To create this card I have white heat embossed Sending Roses image and the sentiment with Wow Opaque Bright White Super fine embossing powder.
I masked off edges of the cardstock (about half an inch), creating a frame, then blended Tumbled Glass and Spun Sugar Distress Inks, starting from the sides and working my way to the center.
I used the same two inks to watercolor the image. Purple in the middle is a mix of the two colors and I really love the shade. Once I was done with water coloring I set the panel aside to dry and prepared my card base.
Now that my panel was dry, I used foam tape to adhere it to the white card base.
Card was embelished few white pearls π
For my second card I have used the adorable Alligators and Crocodiles stamps and dies!
Aren’t these crocs and birds adorable!? This stamp set comes with so many sentiments for lots of occasions π I have even created a love themed/Valentine’s Day card with this set that I will be sharing soon but for now, let’s focus on the card above π
I colored the images with alcohol markers and cut them with coordinating dies.
The background was made with blending Broken China and Mowed Lawn Distress inks, then adding water droplets with a sprayer to create some texture and interest.
When the background was dry I stamped the sentiment with Versafine Onyx Black, then adhered die cut images with liquid glue and foam tape.
Finished panel was adhered to 5 x 5 card base.
To embellish the card I used white Nuvo drops.
These two cards were so much fun to make and I really hope you like them and enjoyed spending some time with me today!
Thank you so much for stopping by and as always, I wish you Happy Crafting π
