Hey crafty friends!
It is time for the new challenge at The Male Room Challenge BlogΒ – Challenge #112 is Computers or Gaming π
Boy, was I exited about this challenge – I am not a gamer and even when I did try few years back, I was REALLY bad at it…Β but I know so many people who love playing video games, one of them being my step son, so I decided to make him an early birthday card π
A while ago, I bought Screen Time stamp set by Lawn Fawn specifically for making cards for him and few other family members who are gamers!
To create this card I stamped and colored the images from Screen Time stamp set then die cut them out.
For the card part I choose Lawn Fawn Shadow Box Die set as I thought it would pair perfectly with my idea for the little scene.
I die cut all the pieces for the shadow box from scrapbook patterner paper I had in my stash. Since the paper was one sided, the inside of the box would have been white once assembled, I stenciled brick wall on the same patterned paper, and I trimmed into panels to fit the inside and not interfere with box assembly.
For the floor pieces I used woodgrain patterned paper and adhered them to the inside of the box.
I die cut the windows with dies from Lawn Fawn Scalloped Treat Box Spring Add-On, and adhered them to the back wall of the box. On the back of the windows I added the sky and clouds.
Once I assembled the box it was time to add my images.
After adhering the images I stamped and die cut You Leveled Up sentiment on the same patterned paper, and adhered it to the back wall.
I added Happy Birthday speech bubble to the front, above the cell phone, to look like the little gamer was getting a text message π
To finish the card I adhered tan panel to the back of the box where I will write the message.
I had so much fun making this adorable shadow box card and I think my stepson will love it!
Thank you so much for taking the time and stopping by today!
I hope you have a fantastic day and as always I wish you Happy Crafting π
