Hello friends!
It is time for the new #114 challenge at The Male Room Challenge Blog and this fortnight’s theme is Multiple Layers π
For this challenge I have created a birthday card for one of our friends who loves sailing. So many people love to sail in PNW but it does get chilly often, so I thought a nautical themed sweater birthday card would be perfect for our “sailor” friend!
To create this card I have used products from one of my favorite stamp companies Sunny Studio Stamps π I choose the Summer Splash patterned papers from their summer release, Sweater Vest die set and Cute As A Button stamp set.
I started by creating a sweater card base out of 110 lb white cardstock. I die cut the patterned papers next using Sweater Vest dies and adhered them to the card base.
Little fishes were fussy cut from the same patterned paper pack and adhered directly to the background.
I created three buttons using Cute As A Button stamp set and coordinating dies and adhered them to the sweater with foam tape.
To finish off the card I stamped Birthday Wishes sentiment and added yellow strips to the sides to match the rest of the design.
I had so much fun creating this sweater card and our friend loved it! It was a winner!
I really hope you liked this project and got inspired to join us for this fun #114 Multiple Layers challenge π
Thank you so much for stopping by today and until next time I wish you Happy Crafting!!
