Technique Tuesday July 2019 Release – Blog Hop and Giveaway

It’s the beginning of the month and time for the new Technique Tuesday July 2019 release and blog hop!

The Technique Tuesday Design Team members have been busy making some amazing new projects for this blog hop that are sure to inspire you. I have a really fun sloth card to share today, made with the super adorable Sloane and Slater the Sloths stamps and crafting dies.

Sloane and Slater are the newest Animal House Society addition.

This card was super easy and simple to make so lets get to it!

I started with coloring my sloths with alcohol markers and cutting them out with coordinating dies.

The background was created with patterned paper from my stash – I used deckle scissors to create the edges and adhered the strips directly to the card base.

I lightly stenciled the clouds in the middle of the patterned paper strips.

Sentiment (from the stamp set) was stamped with black ink and die cut with Essential Stitched Labels Dies.

To assemble the card, I added foam tape to the sloths and the sentiment and adhered them to the background.

I trimmed the sentiment and my card was finished!
