Rubbernecker Stamps – Thinking Of You

RN 7-10

Hi friends!

Today I am sharing a Thinking of You card created with Scarlet Star flower stampΒ from Rubbernecker Stamps.

I have used this beautiful stamp before and have loved the detail on the image so decided to use it again with coordinating watercolor stamp.

1201 Scarlet StarI started by stamping the image on watercolor paper with Ranger Archival black ink. Once the image was dry I scribbled Tombow brush markers in green shades on leaves and stems of the second stamp (the one that looks like a black/white shadow image), sprayed them with water and stamped over the image.

I cleaned the stamp and repeated the process with purple, pink and red (for the center of the flower) markers.

I set the image aside to dry.

I stamped butterfly from Brush Butterflies stamp set, colored it with Tombow markers and used coordinating dies to cut it out.

To create the background I used Nested Deckle Rectangle Dies to cut purple and white cardstock. I adhered the layers and added them to the card base using craft foam.

I stamped the Thinking Of You sentiment from Best Wishes Etc stamp set on the flower panel and die cut it with the largest of Nested Oval with pierce die, then adhered the panel to the background.

To finish off the card, I added my butterfly with foam tape and my card was finished.

I love the watercolor look this stamp set created and how easy it was!

Thank you so much for stopping by today and until next time – Happy Crafting!

**I am reposting this as there was a glitch with my blog post and the entire post did not show the first time it published**
