Hello friends!
I am back today with a card featuring Brush Butterflies stamp set from Rubbernecker Stamps.
I have featured one of these beauties last week and decided to make another card using the same stamp set. Images are so detailed and delicate and they’re such a joy to color.
My butterflies were stamped, colored with alcohol markers and cut with coordinating dies.
I stamped and white heat embossed Splatter Background stamp then ink blended Scattered Straw and Dried Marigold distress inks.
Next I used Nested Rectangle Stitch Die to cut the panel. I cut the frame and the window with second and third largest Nested Deckle Rectangle Dies.
I adhered the background to the card base, rotating the frame and popping it with foam tape.
Sentiment (from Brush Butterflies stamp set) was stamped with black ink and cut with the smallest Nested Oval W/Pierce Die. I cut an extra one out of blue cardstock and layered it behind the sentiment, cutting in the middle and extending on each side.
I adhered the sentiment and the butterflies with foam tape and embellished with yellow gems.
I really love how this card turned out with blue and light yellow colors – I planned a different color combo that I think I will use for my next butterfly card π
Well, that’s all from me today – I really appreciate you stopping by today and until next time I wish you Happy Crafting!
