AAA Birthday – Game #4 – For The Boys

AAA Birthday 4 (2)

Hello everyone!

It’s the first Monday of the month and time for the new AAA Birthday Challenge – Game #4 with the theme ~ For The Boys ~

I was soo excited about creating this card – we have a little dino enthusiast in the family who’s birthday is coming up and I just couldn’t wait to make him a dino birthday card!

I pulled out several Lawn Fawn stamp sets for this card – Rawrsome (dinos, volcano, sentiment), Critters Down Under (trees), Critters In The Jungle (leaves, grass) and Gleeful Gardens (tall grass).

To start, I stamped all images, colored them with Spectrum Noir markers and cut them out.

I created a blue background with distress Inks in Blueprint Sketch, Salty Ocean and Tumbled Glass then splattered water droplets on the background and set it aside to dry.

From green cardstock, I die cut two grassy borders, added shading with Mowed Lawn distress ink and adhered both layers on the bottom of the blue background panel. I added the images next, popping some with foam tape. I stamped the sentiment on a piece of white cardstock and added it to the top of the panel.

I framed the scene with light orange frame and adhered the finished panel to A2 size card base.

This month we have an awesome Guest Designer Clarissa – who created a beautiful card for this challenge!

There is also a lot of AMAZING inspiration by the Design Team on AAA Birthday Blog so make sure you stop by and check it out! I really hope we will inspire you to join us and play along πŸ™‚ This challenge is open until September 1st!

Thank you so much for stopping by today and spending some time with me! I will see you in a few days with a new post πŸ™‚ Happy Crafting!!
