Hello crafty friends!
Today I am sharing one more version of a Scarlet Star stamp from Rubbernecker Stamps! I have completely fallen in love with this stamp and have now done 3 versions of it – Zig markers, watercolor stamping and now with alcohol markers.
For this card I have used new 4012 Bold Rose stencil also from Rubbernecker stamps (yep they carry stencils now and they’re really fantastic – you can take a peek at them HERE).
I started with coloring the flower with alcohol markers and cutting it out.
For the background I inked light yellow over the stencil then ran it through my Big Shot and embossed with it (it’s hard to see on the photo since it very light – the yellow background looks really good with that rich purple flower).
I stamped the sentiment (from 3029 Best Wishes set) with purple ink then using the same ink color mixed with water, added some splatter on the background.
To assemble the card I have cut the light purple cardstock with largest Nested Deckle Rectangle Dies, then layered the stenciled panel which I cut with second largest Nested Rectangle Stitch Die.
I adhered the flower next, popping it up with foam tape.
For the sentiment, I used Nested Square Stitch Die cut which I trimmed into a flag.
I embellished with some light yellow gems, to match the background and my card was finished π
I really hope you like this third version of Scarlet Star!
Thank you so much for stopping by today and until next time I wish you Happy Crafting!
