The Male Room Challenge #118 – Flight

TMR 118

Hello and welcome back!

It’s time for our bi-monthly challenge at The Male Room Challenge Blog! This fortnight’s theme for #118 challenge is Flight and that means anything up in the air πŸ™‚

Of course I made an airplane card for this challenge! My whole family loves airplanes, we visit many air shows and most of us have or still do work in aerospace industry. So Plane Awesome stamp set from Sunny Studio Stamps was just perfect πŸ™‚ I just love interchangeable critter pilots, awesome sentiments and a fantastic banner in this set!

I started with stamping, coloring and die cutting the images, then created the cloudy sky with homemade cloud stencils (I used Fluffy Clouds border dies to create the stencils out of acetate and I just keep on using them, cutting out of cardstock will work as well but might not last as long as the acetate ones).

TMR 118b.jpg Next I created the circle frame and rectangle frame out of white cardstock and adhered them to the background with foam tape.

I added the images with double layer of foam tape and adhered the die cut clouds.

I was going to stamp “flight” directly on the background but I decided to stamp it on one of the cloud die cuts and adhere it below the banner inside of the circle frame.

I really hope you’ve enjoyed this post and like the card I have shared. Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by today and spend some time with me.

I will see you soon and until then I wish you Happy Crafting πŸ™‚
