Hello friends!

Today I am sharing additional inspiration for Club La-La Land Crafts August Club Kit 🙂

I love, love this kit! It is so full of cuteness, with a beautiful Marci image and all those adorable critters! This is also a special birthday kit (CLLL is celebrating their 5th birthday) so there are extra bonus dies that this kit comes with!

I just had to make a shaker birthday card, so I colored the critters in rainbow colors and created a background that would match! I mixed a bunch of different sequins from my stash to get the right mixture to match the colors of the critters.

I created the shaker frame with Scalloped Rectangles Dies and pink patterned paper. I also added rainbow strips patterned paper on top and bottom behind the shaker frame, then used the same paper to create the layer behind the yellow die cut gift.

I stamped the word birthday and colored with the same markers I colored the critters.

For my second card I used the image of sweet Marci holding the birthday gift.

I colored her with alcohol markers, then fussy cut her out.

To create the background I used Magical Sparkles Layering Stencils and two distress inks (Wilted Violet, Dusty Concord). Once the panel was completed I die cut it with Large Stitched Tags Die.

For the yellow layer I used largest Scalloped Rectangles Dies as well as the smallest die for the sentiment. I stamped the sentiment with purple ink to match the stenciled background. Purple numbers were die cut with balloon numbers dies from this amazing kit! I can’t wait to use these fun dies again for other birthday cards!
