AAA Birthday Challenge – Game #5 – Use A Stencil

AAA Birthday5

Hello crafty friends!

It is the first Monday of the month and time for the new challenge at AAA Birthday! The theme for Game #5 is Use a Stencil and Design Team has so many amazing creations to share to inspire you to join us πŸ™‚

We are also welcoming a wonderful Guest Designer Rachelle – you can check out her amazing card and post HERE.

Now let’s get on to the card I created for this challenge!

AAA Birthday5a

For this card I have used the most adorable little bees and gorgeous balloons from Sunny Studio Stamps (Just Bee-cause and Bold Balloons stamps).

I created the background with a homemade stencil (I used Fluffy Clouds Border Dies to cut the acetate and created the stencil), then inked Salty Ocean distress ink to make the clouds.

I then used largest Stitched Oval Dies to cut the opening and popped the outer die cut (frame part) with foam tape.

I stamped and colored my images next and cut the with coordinating dies. For the sentiment I decided to stamp them directly on the balloons.

I added balloons and bees with foam tape then stamped the stitched bee trails on the background and that finished my card πŸ™‚

I really love how this card turned out and I hope you get a chance to join us for this fun challenge (challenge is open Sept 2nd to the 29th).

Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by and spend some time with me today – until next time I wish you Happy Crafting πŸ™‚
