Hello crafty friends and welcome back!
Fall is just around the corner and we are having a perfect challenge at The Male Room starting today! Challenge #119 is Autumn and so perfect for this time of the year and also for masculine cards, as fall colors work really well ๐
We are thrilled to have super talented Joy D’souza joining us as a guest designer for this challenge!!! Take a look at her amazing card and post HERE.
Now let’s get on to the card I am sharing today!
I have created this fall themed card using beautiful stamps from Rubbernecker Stamps Splatter Leaves. This is technically a one layer card minus the two brown strips I added at the end.
I cut a piece of Neenah cardstock with stitched rectangle die and masked the areas of the panel leaving a strip open for stamping. I used new alcohol marker friendly ink from Lawn Fawn in Crushed Leaf for my no line coloring today, then the mix of Copic and Spectrum Noir markers to color the leaves.
Once my coloring was done I adhered two strip of inked cardstock (this wasn’t planned but my masks didn’t protect the area underneath well).
I stamped the sentiment next with Rust and Cop o’ Joe inks from Hero Arts to create an ombre look.
For finishing touch I added few brown gems around the sentiment.
I popped the entire panel with craft foam and adhered to A2 sized card base.
Don’t forget to stop by The Male Room Challenge blog to see what the rest of the Design Team has shared!
Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you’ve enjoyed this post and got inspired to play along with us!
Happy Crafting!!! ๐
