We have a super talented guest designer Trina P. joining us for this month’s challenge – you can check her awesome card and blog post HERE.
For today’s birthday card I have used beautiful stamps from Scrapbook Forever, fairly new stamp company for me and I am so impressed with their stamps and amazing images!
I especially love their critter stamps and beautiful florals and for today’s card I used a large daisy stamp with a sentiment in German (All the best for your birthday). I have family in Germany and was so excited to be able to have stamps with sentiments in German 🙂
I started by stamping the daisy three times, coloring it with alcohol markers and fussy cutting them out.
For the background I used Distress Oxides inks in Lucky Clover and Twisted Citron. Once blended I added splatter with same ink colors mixed with water.
Once the background panel was dry I die cut it with stitched rectangle die and white heat embossed the sentiment using Opaque Bright White from WOW.
I adhered my flowers next clustering them in the left top corner, then trimming the petals to my panel size.
For some interest and more artsy look I added white splatter on the flowers then adhered the finished panel to A2 size card base.
Thank you so much for stopping by today, I hope you will join us for this month’s challenge and have fun playing with the color palette 🙂
Until next time I wish you Happy Crafting!
