Hello and welcome back crafty friends!
This beautiful set includes a large holly image, few berry images and several sentiments perfect for the holidays!
I used leafy embossing folder to give the background a bit of teture (I believe it’s Darice but I bought it so long ago that I cannot be sure). Once embossed, I added dark brown splatter.
For the sentiment, I added dark brown burlap ribbon which I adhered with glue tape, then heat embossed the sentiment on a piece of vellum (I used Simon Says Stamp Rose Gold embossing powder).
I adhered the holly image next, then added Nuvo drops in Pink Orchid as embellishments.
This card came together really fast and I just love the rustic look schieved with the colors I used.
I wanted to do something different and colored the berries with glitter jelly roll pen in gold/orange color. I really wanted that glitter to sparkle and also wanted to use a different medium for inspiration.
For the background, I lightly inked the edges with Vintage photo distress ink and added splatter with the same ink mixed with water, then die cut the panel.
I heat embossed the sentiment (using WOW Mayan Glintz embossing powder), popped the panel with craft foam and adhered it to the card base.
I added my holly images, jute bow and embelished with pearls in coordinating color and my card was finished!
Thank you so much for stopping by today! I really hope you emjoyed the post and got inspired 🙂
I will see you again asson and until then Happy Crafting!
