Today I have a super adorable Halloween wrap around treat box to share with you so let’s get to it 🙂

I started with stamping and coloring my images on Classic Crest Solar White 80lb cardstock (I use this cardstock for all my stamping and coloring with alcohol markers).

These adorable owl images are from Sunny Studio Stamps – Happy Owl-o-ween stamp set and come with lots of fun Halloween costumes for you to dress up your little owl in and get him/her ready for trick-or-treating 🙂

Once my owl images and little outfits were colored, I die cut them with coordinating dies.

Next I worked on my treat box, and I wanted it to be as colorful as pCutCardStock Blogossible! I used 5 colors of cardstock, 1 for each side of the box as well as the sentiment strips, ground pieces and stars. I choose Halloween colors, of course, DCS Black, DCS Orange Zest, Astrobright Gamma Green and Astrobright Planetary Purple cardstocks.

I cut each color with Wrap Around Box dies (from Sunny Studio Stamps), and assembled the box with Double Sided Score Tape.

Once the box was assembled I cut ground elements for my critters to stand on, from green and black cardstocks. I used Woodland Borders Die (from Sunny Studio Stamps) to create the hills. Next, I inked black pieces with white ink, and green pieces with dark green ink, then added splatter giving them some dimension and texture.

I added adhered stitched circles (part of Wrap around box die set) to the top of the petal closures as well as my ground pieces using Tombow Mono Multi Glue, and finally adhered my images to each side of the box with Plus TG dot adhesive.

I decided to add stars to each little scene so I die cut a bunch of stars from DCS Bright Solar Yellow cardstock, to which I added white splatter before cutting. I used Basic Mini Shape Dies to cut my little stars 🙂

I adhered the stars with Tombow Mono liquid glue and my Halloween treat box was finished!

I have to say I love the way it turned out – using multiple bright colors for the box sides really made a difference and made all other colors pop!
