AAA Birthday – Game #7 – Include A Number

Hello lovelies and welcome back to my blog!

It is the first Monday of the month and that means a new challenge at AAA Birthday – Game #7!!! For November we are challenging you to Include a Number into your project/s 🙂

We have a fabulous guest designer joining us this month – Izzy Scrap! Izzy created a super adorable card for this challenge – you can check out her post and card HERE.

I must admit I struggle with including numbers on my cards and I actually don’t think I have any number stamps or dies (if I do I forgot I had them and where they live HA!). Last few cards I made I wrote in the number in after finishing the card – just like I did for the one I am sharing today! And… I tend to hide it 😉

AAA Birthday #7a

I started by creating the background using Altenew Golden Garden stamp set, Shades of purple and Warm Gray mini cube ink sets. For my stamping and coloring I always use Classic Crest Solar white cardstock.

I trimmed the panel with rectangle stitched die then backed it with Basis Gray and Pop Tone Grapesicle layering cardstocks from CutCardStock.

For the sentiment I used Simon Says Stamp Happy Birthday Script wafer die and cut purple cardstock as well as craft foam. I layered the two diecuts with liquid glue then adhered it to the background.

I added several purple gems around the sentiment and glittered each flower with Wink of Stella pen.

Have you found the number yet? Just in case you haven’t or forgot all about it … It’s hidden in one of the petals just above the Y of the word Birthday 🙂

    Absolutely gorgeous ! Love the delicate flowers and colours of this background. And I can tell you that your number is really well hidden, I’ve been searching it without success. A lovely way to pop up the sentiment. Thank you for having me as the Guest designer at AAA Birthday.
