Technique Tuesday – Happy Happy Release

Ana A -Happy Everything Dies-Let's Party Stamps3

Hello friends!

Today I am sharing six cards I have created with new Technique Tuesday Happy Happy release! There is so many awesome stamps and dies in this release and I have played heavily with these goodies πŸ™‚

For my first card (photo above) I have used Happy Everything crafting dies and balloons and sentiment from Let’s Party Stamp set. I used a piece of previously made watercolor background and I did some no line coloring on the balloons.

Continuing with a blue theme, I used another piece of watercolored paper for the background and did reverse die cut inlay using Shooting Stars crafting dies and Happy Everything crafting dies.

Outline of the word Happy is actually a leftover from the first card πŸ™‚

This card is super girly and I just love the colors! Background was created by ink smooshing of pink and yellow ink. From the Large Birthday stamp set, I stamped Hooray it’s your birthday, 3 times in coordinating ink colors then colored them with alcohol markers.

I used Stars on the border crafting dies and cut the panel in half, keeping all the die cut pieces. I glued the panel directly to the card base, then added a vellum panel on top.

Finally I adhered die cut stars to the top of the vellum so the colors stand out.

Ana A - Happy Everything-Year round happy

This Happy Everything card was made for my friend who’s personality is just like this card! Colorful, bubbly and always happy πŸ™‚ Colorful background was created with ink smooshing again, I used more colors than on the last card but all light and pastel.

I used Happy everything and Happy Year Around dies for the words that are framing the center panel and to create the bubbles I used Simply Circles Card crafting dies, popping the circles with foam tape.

I decided to make a really colorful background for this card, stamping images from Let’s Party stamp set, coloring them with Spectrum Noir markers then diecutting the panel with big happy die from Happy Everything crafting die set. I popped each letter with foam tape and framed it with white cardstock to make them stand out. I added colorful dots all around the background to complete the look.

And finally, for my last card, I used leftover die cut letter outlines from the previous card. I created a quick ink blended background with Salty Ocean distress ink, added a white frame then popped the letters with foam tape. At this point the card seemed little plain to me so I added Nuvo drops in multiple colors to match the letters.

And that completes my six cards created with new Happy, Happy release πŸ€—

I really hope you enjoyed this post and got inspired to stretch your supplies, use some premade backgrounds and just play! You can do so much with just one die set or one stamp set, the possibilities are endless.

Thank you so much for stopping by, I wish you a wonderful day πŸ’—
