Hello friends and happy December! Today we have a new game starting at AAA Birthday! Game #8 is Balloons and Banners 🙂

I have a VERY colorful card to share with you today with lots of patterns – lots! Holy batman patterns! LOL!

I have to admit I have struggled with adding multiple patterned papers on one project, it somehow doesn’t work for me but for this card I was 100% determined I will add at least 3 different patterns. I ended up with 5!!

This adorable paper is from Sunny Studio Stamps as are the balloons, sentiments and the puppy 🙂

Patterned paper packs I used are Rainbow Bright and Surprise Party. Balloon stamps and dies and the sentiments are from Birthday Balloons. And this adorable puppy is actually from a Christmas set Santa’s Helpers, but worked so well for this birthday card 🙂

I layered the patterned papers first, mixing and matching the patterns on the background. I needed my puppy in the box to stand on something, so I die cut several long flags from different patterned papers and adhered them to the bottom.

I colored the puppy and the box with alcohol markers, then stamped the balloons in red and yellow inks, and the sentiment in blue. Word happy was white heat embossed on black cardstock.

Now that I had all my elements colored and die cut, I adhered them to the card with liquid glue and foam tape.

To finish the card I added red and white twine to the balloons and some white highlights to the box and bow.
