We have a wonderful guest designer and winner of our last challenge Dhruvika, joining us with her awesome card! You can check out her card and blog post HERE.
I have used some possibly unconventional pieces for my card today 🙂 Few dats ago I was rummaging through my stash and found a stack of pocket pieces and journaling cards I got from a friend few years ago, so I used a few to create my background!
Large zig zag piece in the back in a journaling card – I covered the area for journaling with kraft scripty piece then added a black and white scripty pocket piece to the left side.
Next I inked up a tan tag and adhered it to the right side to make separation from the image and the sentiment.
I used a previously stamped image of a Ford Mustang (I believe the image is from Rubberneck Stamps – I tried to find it but it’s possible it’s been discontinued).
I colored the image with Copic markers (I used E markers) and fussy cut it out.
I added two pieces of ribbon, brown and burlap, to ground the image then adhered the image with foam tape.
Finally I white heat embossed the sentiment oh a piece of dark brown cardstock and added glossy accents to the car to make it look shiny and polished!
Such a fun card to make and it felt so great using up things from my stash!
I really hope you join us for this challenge – the best part is there’s no theme so you can make whatever you like 🙂
Thank you so much for stopping by today – until next time I wish you Happy Crafting!
