Hello friends!
I’s been a while since my last post and with a good reason. I didn’t have a working computer for almost 3 weeks and wasn’t able to add blog posts for my cards, but I am happy to say things are finally back to normal now π
Today I am sharing a card for the newest challenge #130 – Use Embossing – at The Male Room.Β
We have a wonderful guest designer Angie joining us for this fun challenge! Take a peek at her awesome card and blog post HERE.
Now lets get to the card I have made for this challenge.
I was shuffling through my embossing folders and no ideas were coming, so I decided create a card and heat emboss the sentiment.
For my card I used stamps from Rubbernecker stamps. I used 3010 Dogs 1 and 3015 Dogs 2, 1231 Splatter Background for the ground and 4011 Clouds Stencil.
I masked the images created a one layered scene and colored them with alcohol markers. I used Cloud stencil and Salty Ocean distress ink for the sky.
Once the scene was completed I heat embossed the sentiments using VersaFine Onyx black ink and clear embossing powder. I never had luck with black embossing powder so I found this to be the best way to add black embossing to any of my projects.
Finally I added the red frame and my card was finished.
I really hope you like today’s card and got inspired to join us for this fun challenge.
Don’t forget, you can created any paper project as long as it’s suitable for a male – card, tag, bookmark, layout etc. and you can add embossing any was you like – embossing folder, emboss with a die or stencil, heat embossing are all fun possibilities π
Thank you for stopping by today and I wish you all Happy Crafting!

Wow Ana, those pups are so adorable. Are these like your ones? Or are you more of a cat lover? The embossed sentiments are just perfect for your well made scene.
