AAA Birthday #12 – Dots and/or Stripes

AAA #12

Hey crafties and welcome back!

It’s the beginning of the month and as always we’re having a new challenge starting at AAA Birthday challenge! This month’s theme is Dots and/or Stripes! Isn’t it a fun theme and so perfect for birthday cards/tags/gift boxes etc.

I am so excited that my friend from Instagram Barb (@foldzik) is joining us for this fun challenge! She has made an absolutely adorable card and I hope you stop by her Instagram page to check it out.

I decided to make a shaker for this challenge – I have been enjoying shaker cards lately, as well as using up copious amounts of sequins in my stash πŸ˜‰

I have used several products from Sunny Studio Stamps for this card and few from My Favorite Things.

AAA #12a

I choose Surprise Party and Rainbow Bright patterned paper, Fancy Frames Oval, Fancy Frames Rectangle as well as Frilly Frames Stripes dies (all from Sunny Studio Stamps) for this card.

After die cutting patterned paper and creating a shaker, I added Rainbow Dot Confetti and Primary Star Confetti (Sunny Studio Stamps) to fill the shaker.

I used a word Wish and balloon dies (from My Favorite Things – they might be retired as I couldn’t find them to link them), die cut them out of patterned paper and white card stock and offset them for some shading and dimension.

AAA #12b

I stamped the word big using Phoebe Alphabet stamp set and finished the card off with adding Glossy Accents to the balloon tie and candle flame.

I really hope you join us for this fun challenge! There is so much awesome DT inspiration the AAA Birthday blog so please stop by and check them out!

Until next time, stay safe, stay healthy and stay crafty!
