Hi friends!
I hope you are all doing well and are staying safe and crafty π
Hero Arts recently started a weekly Stay Crafty With Hero challenge to inspire all of us to stay crafty and connected during these hard times. Today I am sharing a card I made for their third Stay Crafty With Hero challenge – Home Inspiration.
I have to admit it was pretty challenging for me to find something in our home to use as an inspiration – so I turned to wall dΓ©cor.
I was really inspired by Libby Hickson who created and shared a beautiful card for this challenge inspired by her home wall dΓ©cor.
For my card I used Cherry Blossom Fancy die, which I die cut out of tan cardstock.
I mixed Gold Embossing powder and Sparkle Embossing powder to create the look of gold speckled surface on the branches.
To create the background I used a second layer of a cherry tree stamp from the MMH March 2020 kit and used the same embossing powder mix to heat set it.
Sentiment (from MMH March 2020 kit) was heat embossed on a piece of vellum and adhered to the background.
I popped the cherry tree branch with foam tape and adhered the finished panel to A2 size card base.
Below if the photo of our wall dΓ©cor I was inspired by π
Thank you so much for stopping by today! I will see you next time, and until then stay safe, stay healthy, stay crafty! XO
