Hello crafty friends!
Today I am so happy and honored to be a part of EDS/HSD Awareness Instagram Hop hosted by Natasha Davies.
I have to admit before being invited to participate in this hop, I have never heard of EDS/HSD and I am so very grateful to have learned about it and participate in spreading the word and awareness.
You can read more about Natasha’s journey and how it all started for her HERE as well as the information of their Zebra logo.
For today’s card I wanted to create something beautiful and uplifting. I used an image of my favorite flower and a sentiment that just felt perfect for this event.
For my background I used several dies (Penny Black and Hero Arts) and kept it white to make the flower/focal point stand out.
The lily image I used is a digital stamp from Alex Syberia (you can find it in her Etsy shop HERE).
After sizing the image on “Word” I printed it on Neenah Classic Crest Solar white paper and colored it with Copic markers.
I fussy cut the image and started working on my sentiment.
I used sentiment from Hero Arts Beautiful World stamp set which I white heat embossed with WOW Opaque Bright White embossing powder.
I fussy cut the image then adhered both the flower and the sentiments to the background with liquid glue and foam tape.
I really hope you love this card as much as I do. The image is so beautiful, makes me smile and makes me feel hope. I often turn to flowers when I fell like I am in slump, whether creative, emotional or mental, and thought it was perfect for this event.
Thank you so very much for stopping by today.
