Happy June crafties!
I hope your day is off to a good start! Today I am sharing a card created for the new AAA Birthday Challenge π Game #14 is Use Vellum.

We have an awesome guest designer joining us this month – Izzy Scrap π She made a fabulous card for this challenge , so make sure you stop by her blog (linked above), take a peek and leave some love!
Today’s card features previously colored image ( I’ve colored it during recent TheDailyMarker30day coloring challenge, stamp is from Simon Says Stamp – Cosmos Background cling).

Cosmos were colored with BV Copic markers, and the background with light pink, lavender and light blue.
I trimmed the image with stitched rectangle die, slightly smaller that A2 size card base.
I die cut the vellum next with Stitched Scallop Basic Edges from My Favorite Things, then cut it again about half an inch lower.

Sentiment (from My Favorite Things – might be discontinued as I couldn’t find it on their site) was white heat embossed on the vellum die cut then adhered to the floral background.
At this point the design seemed little plain to me so I added stitching with white gel pen (you can tell I don’t have the steadiest hand – we could call them wonky stitches π

I embellished with white Nuvo drops and few silver sequins for some shine!
That’s all from me for today! I really hope you enjoyed today’s card and stop by AAA Birthday Blog for a lot more inspiration from the design team!
Thank you for spending some time with me today and until next time I wish you Happy Crafting!

Awesome use of a previously coloured up background. The vellum certainly adds another dimension and I love the purple of course!
