Hello crafty friends!
Today I am so excited to share new digital stamps illustrated by my dear friend Varada Sharma!
I was so excited and honored when Varada asked me to join her for this release and couldn’t wait to color these beautiful images!
For this very first release, Varada is generously giving these beauties as freebies at her shop! Below I am sharing two card created for with her new release and I will have few more cards for additional inspiration in the next few weeks 🙂
This particular image (Gardenia Bouquet) is a part of June Monthly Digital Stamp set and it’s absolutely gorgeous.
I started by adding the images to Word document and aligning them to fit one in each corner of the card base (4.25×5.5). I printed the completed design and die cut it with stitched rectangle die.
I colored the images with Copic markers and added some blue sharing behind each floral cluster.
Once I was done with coloring, I added some black splatter to the center of the panel then added the sentiment (dies are from Simon Says Stamp) then finished the card design with edging the panel with gold gel pen and black Nuvo drops.
My second card features Begonia stamps (from the same June Monthly Digital Set).
For this design I pulled out separate images and created a bouquet using Power Point ( I prefer Word for my digis but PP gives me an option of overlaying the images and creating my own designs).
I printed the image on watercolor paper and colored it with waterbrush markers. I used distress oxide ink diluted with water for the background.
Once the panel was dry, I used embossing pes and a ruler to create the lines and heat embossed them with gold embossing powder from Ranger.
I stamped a large hello sentiment and gold heat embossed it as well.
For finishing touched I added black Nuvo drops and gold embossed splatter (created with messing pen).
I really hope you have enjoyed this post and love these beautiful images from Varada.
Thank you so much for stopping by today, I will see you next time and until then I wish you Happy Crafting!
