Today we are starting Game #2 at AAA Birthday Card Challenge! The theme for the month of June is Use Water Colors!
I have been really enjoying practicing water coloring and I was really happy when I saw the theme for this month 🙂
As June is a BIG birthday month in our family, I have jumped on the opportunity to make a card for one of the family members!
Hello crafty friends and welcome to Technique Tuesday June 2019 release and blog hop!
If you’re hoping along you should have arrived from Amy Kolling’s blog
If this is your first stop WELCOME! You will find complete blog hop line up at the end of this post 🙂
June is around the corner and in our family, June is a BIG birthday month! Almost half of the family members have birthdays in June!! I try being prepared by starting with birthday cards right after Christmas so I am never in a crunch, and this year I did well. I have decent stash of birthday cards on hand, and today I am sharing a card similar to one of the cards I made for a family member.
I knew I wanted to play with florals and I did contemplate coloring this beautiful flower with alcohol markers, but I really felt like water coloring that day – so watercolor it was 😉
Hello crafty friends and welcome back!
Today I have some exciting news to share 🙂
I have joined Rubbernecker Stamps Design Team and I am soooo excited and happy! I love their stamps so much and being a part of their amazingly talented team is such an honor! YAAY! I’ve been doing a happy dance for several days and just couldn’t wait to share the news and my newest card created with their beautiful Feathers 1132 rubber stamp!
This stamp set comes with two stamps, one of the detailed feather and the other of the feather “background” (photo below).
I have used the detailed feather only (I have another card in the works where I used both stamps from this set – will be sharing here soon 🙂 but for now let’s get to today’s card!
