First card is all about masking! How much fun did I have creating this cutie!
I cut the masks for the two images from the stamp set, stamped and colored them with alcohol markers. Just loving the result – masking can create so much depth and dimension without adding extra bilk to the card and makes wonderful for mailing π
Sentiment – from the stamp set – was heat embossed on a piece of black cardstock and adhered flat on the card base.
I added a piece of kraft cardstock behind the panel to bring the colors of the image even more!

My second card was created with two adorably sweet squirrel images and a little basket of acorns.
I wanted to create a scene with two squirrels having a picnic on a grassy hill so I startedΒ with blending green and brown inks on the bottom of panel then added soft blue for the sky.
I colored the images with alcohol markers then fussy cut them out and popped them up with foam tape.

I added the sentiment to the top of my card panel and added craft foam to the back of the panel for dimension. I adhered my panel to a standard A2 size card case.

For my third card I used this adorable image of the little squirrel resting on a pile of acorns. I really wanted this little guy to take the center stage on this card so I decided to create a small shaker element behind him and leave the rest of the card simple.
I stamped, colored and fussy cut my squirrel and set him aside.
To create a shaker element I die cut a small circle on the bottom right corner of my panel, stamped the sentiment around the cut area and added acetate to the back of the opening.
I doubled foam tape for added dimension and adhered it to the back of my panel then filled the circle area with sequins. Next I backed the panel with a piece of cardstock and adhered the finished panel to my A2 card base.
To finish it off I adhered the little napping squirrel to the front of the shaker π
I really hope you enjoyed these 2 Nutty π cards and I know you will love this absolutely adorable stamp set π
Thank you so much for stopping by and hope you have a wonderful day!
